No sends today 😦 But another group was climbing next to me and they put up Family Affair 6c which shares the start of EFZ (Ego Free Zone). I asked if we could switch ropes so I could try it on top rope since 6c is a bit above what I can lead. It was a fun climb. Most of the climbing isn’t very hard and very similar to EFZ but there are two cruxes. One in the middle of the route which isn’t too bad and one just before the anchor that gives this climb its grade. Right hand is on a sloper, left hand is on a 2 finger crimp. Awkward feet. Getting to that crimp, working the feet up, then right hand up to the next hold is the tough move. But once the right hand is up the holds and feet are much better and it’s just a foot or so to the anchor.
A little more finger strength and a couple more 6b’s under my belt then I think Family Affair is doable for me.
